Fragments of Calm

This painting was born during a period of reflection, when emotions felt fluid—shifting like water, never settling in one place for long. The choice of greens and turquoise came from a desire to reconnect with calmness and growth, while the earthy browns represented grounding, memory, and the weight of experience.

As the colors began to flow, the surface took on its own life, almost painting itself. The sweeping dark stroke and splatters were added last—an honest expression of unpredictability, the sudden turns life takes, and the contrast between serenity and disruption.

The piece reflects a moment in time when you were seeking balance: between chaos and peace, between past and present, between letting go and holding on. It is a map of emotion, movement, and transformation.
